A funny thing happened during the pandemic: our Associate Dean left the department and I applied for, and got, her job.
So now I’m the Associate Dean of the marketing management programs at the BCIT School of Business and Media. My portfolio includes the two-year marketing diploma, with a specialization in tourism (or sales, or entrepreneurship or communications).
Those of you who follow me elsewhere may have noticed I’m a little quiet on the tourism front. But I did manage to get asked my thoughts about the airline industry, domestic travel, and price cuts to stimulate demand.
